Kissing

Kissing... What's the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear it? Love? Passion? Sex? Well, kissing, in my opinion, it's a way of expressing love, like no word can. And when you think of kissing, you think of feeling. And if you don't feel it, then there's no point in kissing. A kiss can have some categories or phases, leading to different feelings. For me, when I kiss, I give everything. I do it like it's the last time I'll ever do it. Sending shivers down my spine. Holding grip on the girl's facial skin. Making eye contact every chance I can. Obviously, I don't kiss everyone like that. That's when we introduce categories. Like friends, family, friendship, relationship, etc. Now the phases... We obviously start with a friend. That person who makes you want to give your fullest on everything. The one that, with only a glance, can make your day the brightest one. With just one touch gives your skin all those goosebumps that makes you feel excited. That person, is the one that gives the word "kissing" another meaning. With one kiss of that person, your world just stops and stares. It's like if that kiss makes all of your internal organs celebrate of joy for you. Because you finally found the one. It's like you never wanna let go. Like it's just you and that person, alone, with a world waiting for it to be discovered by both of you. Also, another feeling that kissing gives you, is the feeling of being safe. For example: Imagine you're going through hard times and nobody understands you but that special person... When you kiss, it feels almost like one of those big tight hugs that takes you into a state of full calmness and confidence. And you just wanna kiss that person until it all goes away. But there are also sad kisses... The ones, like I mentioned at the beginning, with no feeling. The ones people use to play with the feelings of other people. Those that, for one person are like heaven, and for the other, are like a cup of coffee: an everyday routine. Those that can give happiness, and in the next second, break you into pieces. If you kiss, you love. And when you love, you give the other person the opportunity to break your heart into pieces. And by a matter of fact, if your heart is broken, you need to say goodbye. And when we say "goodbye" we usually do it with a kiss. But this one is like no other kiss. This one is special. Special because it's actually the last one. And it doesn't matter if it's a friend, a partner, a member of the family or a known one... A goodbye kiss, is a goodbye kiss. And when you give it, you let every feeling with it. Every emotion. Every laugh. Every cry. Every memory that you had with that person, in only that one kiss. Kissing is something serious. With it, you can change someone's life. Whether for good or for bad, with it you can express what your heart is yelling at your brain, without saying a word. You can inspire. Motivate. Build, with only a kiss. So, before going out there kissing everybody, think twice... What do you want to express with a kiss? Or In what way do you want to change that person's life? This is my way of seen the kiss.
